The Lake of Ioannina

The city I am about leave behind is the city of Ioannina. I’ve been living here for two and a half years now and I must say I quite enjoyed it. The setting is magnificent, a vivid scenery. It has it all, mountains, lakes, forests… it even has an island in the lake!

The photograph in the post is from the Lake Pamvotis. The city lies at the western side of the lake. I don’t think that the photograph can really describe the real scenery, but you can extrapolate .

Having spend 4+ years studding in Athens, I learned to appreciate things like that. I was actually glad when I left Athens, but I’m really going to miss Ioannina…
